Buddhism Tibetan bowls can be played by rotating a mallet around the outer edge to produce a sustained musical note. Cutting and singing bowls are widely used for creating music, meditation, and relaxation, as well as for personal spirituality. They have become popular with music therapists, sound healers, and yoga practitioners. "If we accept that sound is vibration and we know that vibration touches every part of our physical being, then we understand that sound is heard not only through our ears but through every cell in our bodies. One reason why that sound heals on a physical level is that it so deeply touches and transforms us on the emotional and spiritual levels.

To use: Place on a desk or hard floor (sounds are clearer and longer than sitting on soft material). Hold only the smallest in the flat palm or it will eliminate the vibration. Made with copper. Large: 5 x 3 inches, Medium: 4 x 2.5 inches, Small: 3.5 x 2 inches. It is also a good idea to be used as a doorbell.
